August Update 2013

• Residents affected by a potential closure of the Arundel Ave to Millswood Cres pedestrian crossing have been invited to attend a street meeting in Millswood Park to discuss the issue. This has been organised by Terina Monteagle  (Liberal candidate for Ashford). This will be from 5pm to 5:30pm on Thursday 1st August.While DPTI have given assurances that the crossing will not be closed going on past from it is little wonder that the residents are showing little trust on this occasion
• Please get your responses in about the Black Forest Local Area Traffic Managment Plan. Although the closing date for this has closed the feedback for the potential for a one way Canterbury Tce is also in the feedback for that and reposes  must be in by the 9th August. If you need  hard copy let me know and I'll drop one off for you.
• The node meetings in Cromer , Canterbury Tce and Byron  Rd were generally well attended and people shared their views about the type of landscaping they would like to see.
