Hopefully, these and the plethora of emails that David Pisoni, Terina Monteagle and Vicki Chapman get next week will see a change of heart. You're right, this stand must be the best news Steph Key has had this week. The group want both parties to agree to the opening of the station so the vote is about other issues and not this one.Jenniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16458824810686127102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4758309684121714688.post-50906144602882391642014-03-07T07:09:12.076+10:302014-03-07T07:09:12.076+10:30I disagree. David Pisoni has stated the need for a feasibility study etc. Vicki Chapman must make the commitment.
I still forecast that the outcome in adjoining Ashford may hinge on Millswood Station.Cr Bob Schnellnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4758309684121714688.post-67398156725539812322014-03-05T21:25:57.271+10:302014-03-05T21:25:57.271+10:30The Labor Party have already progressed the openin...The Labor Party have already progressed the opening of the station for a trial. If the Liberals were to do nothing, if elected, the reopening would go ahead. They have to make a decision to stop the process, why would they do this when they are championing public transport?Jenniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16458824810686127102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4758309684121714688.post-73564102078957595232014-03-05T19:31:40.484+10:302014-03-05T19:31:40.484+10:30I agree with you both. I spoke with David Pisoni ...I agree with you both. I spoke with David Pisoni about this very issue today. Whilst he says he is not opposed to reopening the station he cites the cost and the lack of a feasiblity study as barriers. I would have thought a spend of $400 000 was a small spend in this area and would not warrant a feasiblity study! Why not just take action and open it. The wider benefits are obvious.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4758309684121714688.post-27448019255735515872014-03-05T11:29:49.495+10:302014-03-05T11:29:49.495+10:30I totally agree with you Jennie.

There are 100s of locals affected. The adjoining seat of Ashford may be won or lost on the issue of this train station.
It's really a no brainer of an issue!
For more information, visit Bob on http://bobschnell.blogspot.com.au/
Cr Bob Schnellnoreply@blogger.com
