What is budgeted for in 2018/19

Here are some of the activities that I have helped ensure are budgeted for in the 2014/15 financial year in the Clarence Park Ward (from November 2014), for now Goodwood South.

What’s in it for for Clarence Park?

Maintenance of existing services
Community bus
Unley Swimming Centre
Library
Museum
Hard waste collection, including e-waste
Community Grants
Millswood Sporting Complex
Page Park, Princess Margaret Playground, Dora Guild Playground

Footpaths
Your Clarence Park Councillors championed and succeeded in escalating the program. They would have been completed in about 2030 without intervention.
Only Parker Tce remains to be completed in 2018/19. All other footpaths are now paved
increased funding to repair trip hazards in the paving. Overtime Council has become better at reducing the hazard caused by tree roots and the newer footpaths should last longer..

New Initiatives
Rebuilding the Goodwood Oval Grandstand with better change rooms and more modern fittings
Local Area Traffic Management Plan to be be completed for Clarence Park
New Scoreboard at Goodwood Oval
LED lighting across the City
Study to ascertain tthe best use for the area of Goodwood Oval used by the Hockey Club
Funding for King William Rd upgrade including replacement of the paving

Seeking additional funding for:
The Co-ordinator at The Shed at CPCC
Replacing nets and levelling the run up at the cricket nets
