Linger, longer:A public arts project on the streets of Unley 7-11 April
Linger, longer is an investigative and experiential temporary public arts project re-examining our place in space which needs your involvement.
Expect installations, expect theatre, expect the unexpected.
Come and be part of the experience! Be an audience, be a participant, document your own experiences and also answer some questions for us either here online or on the day at three separate locations.
Please go to Your Say Unley and visit the Linger, longer questions section to see our questions for you.
The Linger, longer artists will also respond to these questions, the answers given to us before and on the day, the places, the “traffic’ and conditions on the day.
Visual arts, dance, theatre and creative engagement will take us on a shared journey of exploring our common spaces. And every day will be different!

Linger, longer is an artistic collaboration between the City of Unley and Dario Vacirca and various artists from Open Space.
Following our live community engagement, we will be creating a touring exhibition graphically re-presenting images from the project in an artistic and flexible format. Panels will be placed in various public locations for short periods of time to encourage further debate of what makes a place a space.
Linger, longer is part of the first year of exciting and innovative public arts projects linked to the new Involve Unley – Public Arts Strategy.
The purpose of the first year is to test and experiment with temporary public arts to educate, inform, facilitate and collaborate in a new way of engaging with our community through the expression of the arts. Diverse art forms will be used to bring our public realm alive.
Also watch out for Found, out to complement Linger, longer.
