Heroes and Villains Games Day When: Tuesday, 10 January 2017 - 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM Where: Unley Libraries at Unley Town Hall Are you a hero or a villain? Find your team by joining us for some X-Box, WII or strategy games. For younger children we will have board games, puzzles and giant family favourites such as Connect Four and dominoes. Drop in and stay for an hour or spend your afternoon fighting the battle between good and evil in the air conditioning! The workshop includes a take home booklet to continue practicing your illustration skills. Interactive Painting workshop When: Tuesday, 17 January 2017 - 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM Where: Unley Libraries at Unley Town Hall Take part in an interactive painting session that will have you using movement and colour to create spontaneous and spectacular art. Inspired by Hervé Tullet style art workshops for children. Please wear clothes that you do not mind getting paint on, or bring a smock. Parents are welcome to join in as well. Young Creatives When: Thursday, 19 January 2017 - 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM Where: Unley Libraries at Unley Civic Library Youth Area We hope this will be the first meeting of a monthly group of young people who are creative, who want to stretch their imaginations, and who wish to be part of a network that will support them in their creative pursuits. Each meeting will be a chance to share ideas and participate in fun activities that encourage open and out-of-the-box thinking, trying new things and playing with ideas. Whether you are into writing, drawing, crafting, designing, performing, or any other creative pursuit, you will be welcome in this group. We also hope this group will host guests from the creative industries to motivate and inspire us! Light snacks provided. The Magical Mountain furry folk get up to all sorts of different activities and have great messages for the children with the help of Wozza and his thoughtfully written and energetically performed songs.
