Stories for Harmony Day
Australia is one of the most successful multicultural countries and Harmony Week is celebrated in March each year, reminding us to work to maintain inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, regardless of cultural or linguistic background.

The perfect book for Harmony Week is Let Me Tell You a Story. This recent addition to the Unley Libraries collection creates a portrait of what it means to be a refugee in the current day. A group of award-winning photographers, filmmakers, painters, and writers have documented the touching and inspiring stories of refugees coming to the West from the Middle East and Africa.

You can also hear local migrants sharing their experiences of living in our city when you take a moment to view the videos in our "Harmony Lounge" at Unley Library next week.
