It feels like we just farewelled the January School Holidays yet here we are, excited about April! We've got some different programs this time, we hope you'll find something exciting to attend. Download the City of Unley April 2019 School Holiday Program Little Bang Discovery Club This 4-session hands-on program combines everyday objects and experiences with genuine scientific enquiry methods that children and their accompanying parents will enjoy. Best of all, everyone will have a Little Bang Discovery Box to take home with a load of exciting items and activities to explore between sessions. STEM Drop in Session VR, Spheros, Lego! Join us for an interactive, STEM focused session where you will explore new technology like virtual reality headsets and iPad-controlled Sphero robots and construct feats of great engineering using Lego. For ages 4+ years Tuesday 16 April, 2 - 3pm Goodwood Library 101 Goodwood Road, Goodwood Gold coin donation on entry, no bookings required. Warrawong Sanctuary Visit Meet the animals! Our collection of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates are sure to delight and surprise. Join us for a hands-on, interactive experience. For all ages. Clever Claymation Lights! Camera! Stop motion! Build and direct a short claymation movie with performing arts group, Little Big Parrots. For ages 10+ years Special Requirements: Please bring your own phone or tablet with the free app 'Stop Motion Studio' downloaded onto it (or talk to staff about borrowing a device from the library) Thursday 18 April, 1 - 3pm Unley Town Hall Oxford Terrace, Unley Cost $5 to be paid on booking, bookings essential. Pasta Making for Teens Chefs from Scoffed Cooking School will teach you pasta making from scratch. Enjoy a delicious hands-on workshop. For ages 13+ years.
