Yesterday afternoon Steph Key arranged for residents and the Reopen Millswood Station Group to meet the Premier, Jay Weaterill, at the station so he could personally thank people for their persistence and hard work. While the wheels have been set in motion for the trains to stop at Millswood from July (in a 12 month trial). Steph reiterated that the station was closed as approx 90 people were using the train each day at this location and that a trial would need to see much higher patronage for the service to be made permanent.
