Mitcham Calls for Train Diversion

Mitcham Council, at it's most recent meeting, has called for the diversion of the freight trains outside of the Adelaide Hills to avoid the risk of fire. The recent fire in Belair National Park should have been a wake up call to government that the current location should not be used during days of Catastrophic dander and plans for diversion are necessary. Mitcham will be taking their concerns to both state and federal levels of government.
