Train Horn Noise

For those of you who are continually annoyed by the train tooting it's horn every time it enters or leaves a station or at pedestrian crossings the following article has been sent to me. Just click on the link below to read.

  2. Both parties know what the issues are and to Steph's credit she is trying to get her government to understand that the issues need to be addressed. The difference is that if Labor want to do it now they can, Liberals can only make promises.

    Let's hope that Steph delivers and stops that damn train hooting.

  4. I have received more information on the One Steel initiative in Whyalla. What residents were able to achieve there was changing the position of the train's horn. So if the driver must use his or her warning horn (and it seems they must) the noise can now emanate from the crossing and not the train itself. this better directs the noise to the people and traffic at the crossing and away from residential properties.
